Kim Kazemi

Kim brings more than twenty-five years of business communications and research experience to the Context Network. Her journalistic and corporate communications background in agricultural, energy, financial and manufacturing sectors allows her to assist clients in:

Rachel Kopay

Rachel brings to Context clients a broad background of over 15 years working in sales, marketing and management in the international food and agribusiness industries.  Prior to joining Context, Rachel was the International Sales and Marketing manager at Charm Sciences, responsible for managing distributor sales of Food Safety diagnostics systems in ~30 countries across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Mid-East and Africa. Prior to joining Charm Sciences she managed the China Region business growth strategy for Monsanto Company in Beijing, China. Rachel has expertise in:

Dale Logan

Dale Logan has more than 25 years of experience in the chemical and seed industry. Dale has developed multiple strategic planning models, along with creating and developing SeedMatrix, a web-based seed data management system. Dale’s expertise spans the following areas:

  • Financial planning model development
  • Internal processes and analysis

Lainey McInnis

Within the Context Network team, Lainey supports agricultural leaders by providing strategic & market analysis, leading and/or assisting in client engagements, and producing consulting reports, frameworks, and other project deliverables.

She helps agricultural leaders analyze and implement action plans to improve their business objectives and cultivate profitability. Her background includes workshop facilitation, strategic planning, and market analysis. Lainey provides project management, business and market analysis, business development and other support that enables clients to meet their goals.

 

Lisa Mella

With nearly a decade as part of the Context Network team, Lisa leads the strategic Operational and Marketing direction and initiatives throughout the organization.

Monty Miller

Dr. Miller has thirty years of experience in building and transforming organizations and cultures. He has worked from farm to pharmaceuticals, and from seed to crop protection in 16 countries.

Jason Nickerson

Jason is a Partner at The Context Network, specializing in transaction advisory, enterprise strategy, and economic development within the agricultural sector. As an advisor to executives in agribusiness, he helps organizations navigate strategic, organizational, and operational tradeoffs, delivering actionable solutions that enhance environmental and social sustainability.

Recent projects include:

  • Leading due diligence on commercial, technical, and sustainability topics for $50M-$2B transactions.
  • Developing a global monitoring-reporting-verification platform for a $500M R&D investment.
  • Creating a low carbon intensity grain strategy for a global commodity trader.

Jason holds an MBA from Duke University. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Central Asia, focusing on agriculture development and nutrition security. He also serves as a board member and treasurer of Seed Programs International, a non-profit providing quality seeds and agricultural education to reduce hunger and poverty.

Ken Rinkenberger

Ken has been engaged in over 300 projects as a consultant for The Context Network over the past 12 years, after nearly 40 years of senior business management experience for four multi-national companies serving the global seed and crop protection markets.  Ken’s experience ranges from product and business P&L responsibility to market assessment and business model development to facilitation of competitive war games and strategic exercises to M&A support. 

Some of his key industry roles at Monsanto included VP of Global Corn Strategy, President of Corn States/Holden’s (licensing division), and COO of American Seeds, Inc.  Prior to Monsanto, Ken was VP Marketing for DEKALB and was the Corn Herbicide Business Lead for Sandoz Agro, among many other product/marketing/commercial leadership roles.

Josh St. Peters

Josh has more than 15 years of diverse experience in the agricultural industry with roles in marketing, brand development, issues management and corporate communications. His background includes positions with DuPont Pioneer, Farm Bureau, Osborn Barr and GROWMARK. He has consulted on marketing plans and strategic communications campaigns for such brands as Merck Animal Health, The Maschhoffs, Monsanto, AGCO, United Soybean Board and USDA.
